In a sea of blushes, pinks, creams, whites and silvers Toronto designer Mikhael Kale debuted his S/S15 collection at WMCFashionWeek this afternoon. Every piece had a touch of something sheer, a little skin, some sparkle, plastic detail and a unique construction. It is a futuristic collection that fuses ‘sexy’ with ‘elegant.’ It’s like everything Leeloo from the Fifth Element would wear if she grew up and went to the ball. xo

Northbound’s annual fashion show, which is widely considered to be the world’s largest fetish event, is fast approaching us. This year’s theme focuses on how new age technology has given rise to an online sexual revolution. Online dating, sexting, internet porn and more will be made explicit at this year’s show, aptly entitled “ikink.” The show is on Oct. 19th at Polson Pier. Like a scene out of a movie, the Soho House put on a life drawing event with lovely models, good light and plenty of vino. It was a peaceful evening of creativity and exploration. This is some of what I saw. x
