Pink Dawn Video Launch Invite & Teaser

PINKDAWN.releaseparty.poster.FINAL

This past May I was introduced to Carmela Antonio in a coffee shop on Ossington by an angel. Carmela’s vibrant energy and enthusiasm had me hooked right off the bat, but then she loaded up a new song she had recorded, strapped her headphones on me, and inspiration struck. I had been looking for a new artist full of potential to try out my hand at directing with, and Carmela’s muse hit me hard. “Pink Dawn” is the track. It is an ethereal rendition of the fragility of unrequited love. It is streaming now exclusively on carmelaantonio.com. Be sure to have a listen. The video will have it’s inaugural screening with a live performance by Carmela on Sept. 15th at Milk Glass Co. The video debut performance will naturally take place amongst the opening of The Goddess Array Pt. 2 art show. Doors are at 6pm. Show is at 10pm. Party until LATE. We have much to celebrate. Please consider this your formal invitation. RSVP to jennifer@jennifertoole.com. xo

Life Drawing & High Society.

SohoLifeDraw-20SohoLifeDraw-10 SohoLifeDraw-16  SohoLifeDraw-23 SohoLifeDraw-27Like a scene out of a movie, the Soho House put on a life drawing event with lovely models, good light and plenty of vino. It was a peaceful evening of creativity and exploration. This is some of what I saw. x

Beaufille.

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Toronto sister design team Beaufille last week in their studio for a Soho House feature. Parris and Chloe are in the midst of launching a massive rebranding of the previously titled fashion brand Chloe comme Parris. The new name, Beaufille, is a tribute to the handsome woman. Keep your eyes on beaufille.com for the launch. x

A Recent Trip to Versailles.

CWMParis-815I had the great opportunity to travel to Versailles on contract this past May. The palace is the best proof I have seen of that great sin, Gluttony. King Louis XIV had 10,000 workers on staff just to keep the palace running for the luxury of himself, his ‘favourites,’ and his close family. It is no wonder he ran France to ruins with his extravagant spending. Take a look at the carefully maintained gardens, the artful statues, the gold trim on everything and, my favourite, Marie Antoinette’s bed. xoCWMParis-816CWMParis-814CWMParis-899CWMParis-818   CWMParis-836 CWMParis-819CWMParis-902CWMParis-843

Darling Dorothy Poses for Ms. May: A Tease

Ms.MayPreviewDorothy called me up a few months back looking for a boudoir shoot. We set the date and made some real photo magic. Dorothy was a natural model and I fell in love with her fierce yet innocent attitude, sharp cheekbones and unreal proportions. I added her to my model roster and Kingpin Chic hired her to pose for their calendar as Ms. May! It is simply the best when that happens. The photo pictured here is an excerpt from the shoot that was too good to be left unseen. So here she is and the real thing is yet to come. Look out for her May 1st. Enjoy!
