Toronto designer Leah Antoinette showed Elan + Castor’s new Summer ready-to-wear collection at David Pecaut Square this afternoon for Toronto Fashion Week. The airy knits and custom silks immediately had me dreaming of relaxing on a warm beach this winter somewhere gorgeous down south. It’s rare to see designs that manage comfort, coziness and elegance at once, but Leah has done it. Hand-dyed silks and hand-woven knits are highly covetable on the best of days, but on this cold, rainy afternoon in Toronto these pieces are a special kind of daydream. xo
