It’s a beautiful thing to be able to celebrate my momma, singer Jeanine Mackie. I created a new space online where fans can watch her perform and listen to her sweet musical stylings. She’s totally magical. Click through and hear for yourself. xo

Talvi Faustmann

Talvi-3

I am a big fan of this Canadian ingenue. She is all set to blow up. With a voice like a purring kitten and a calm, apathetic cool, whatever Talvi does next is sure to be a success that will add to Toronto’s growing reputation as one of the greatest cities in the world. I shot Talvi last Autumn at the Clint Roenisch Gallery just for fun to see what we would create together. The results were very classic, Parisian. Under the studio lights Talvi’s flawless skin reflected delicate highlights to my delight. She is a homegrown talent to be celebrated. Take a peek and have a listen below. xo >>>

John Taylor Ward

JTW-4JTW-2

I had the pleasure of shooting new head shots for Bass/Baritone Yale Music School graduate John Taylor Ward on the beach in Carmel between his performances at the Carmel Bach Festival last month. Already so accomplished in his 27 years we can only look forward to where his potential and talent will take him down the road. Learn more about Taylor on the Carmel Bach Festival’s website HERE.

Peggy Kriha Dye.

Peggy-6Peggy-4Peggy-3Peggy-10Peggy-2     Peggy Kriha Dye, an internationally working operatic soprano & director of Opera Columbus, starred in Opera Atelier’s recent production of Persée by Lully which was performed in Toronto at The Elgin Theatre and then in the opera house of The Palace of Versailles. I was honoured to be invited to Versailles to shoot some new press shots for Peggy. It was a rainy day and we had the place to ourselves. We made some regal photo magic fitting to such a great talent. xo

by Manet.

And yet a few more selects from my shoot with soprano Ambur Braid dripping in diamonds and sitting pretty in a replica of Manet’s oil painting, “Baudelaire’s Mistress.” xoxo

Shot on location at The Ritz Carleton in Toronto, Canada.

Ambur Braid I.

Ambur-7 Ambur-5 Ambur-6I had the extreme pleasure of shooting some new portraits for internationally renowned soprano Ambur Braid a couple of weeks ago in the penthouse at The Ritz in Toronto. Here she is decked out in head-to-toe Gucci. Stay tuned for more excerpts in the coming days. xo
