A Recent Trip to Versailles.

 

CWMParis-815I had the great opportunity to travel to Versailles on contract this past May. The palace is the best proof I have seen of that great sin, Gluttony. King Louis XIV had 10,000 workers on staff just to keep the palace running for the luxury of himself, his ‘favourites,’ and his close family. It is no wonder he ran France to ruins with his extravagant spending.
